Engage Partners is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050. We recognise the responsibility we have to reduce emissions across our operations and supply chain and to support wider national decarbonisation goals.
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions represent the greenhouse gases produced prior to the introduction of any reduction strategies. This baseline is used as the reference point for future reductions. Engage Partners has completed its first full organisational carbon assessment for the reporting period 2021. This reporting period will be used as our Baseline Year.

Current Emissions Reporting
Emissions Reduction Targets
Engage Partners is committed to reducing emissions across Scopes 1, 2 and the required Scope 3 categories in line with our commitment to achieve Net Zero by 2050.
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 409.74 tCO2e by 2030, representing a 14% reduction from the baseline. This calculation is based on the reduction from our baseline to the present, over the next 5-year period.

Carbon Reduction Projects
Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
The following measures have been completed or implemented since the baseline year. The reductions achieved equate to 13.84, representing a 2.8% decrease from baseline emissions. These measures will be in effect during the performance of this contract.
Completed initiatives include:
● Introduction of LED lighting and automated lighting controls across office spaces
● Reduction in business travel through increased use of video conferencing technology
● Implementation of a hybrid working policy to reduce commuting emissions
● Increased recycling and waste management processes within our offices
● Supplier engagement to encourage lower-emission products and services
● Establishment of an internal Environmental Policy with emphasis on resource efficiency and energy reduction
Future Carbon Reduction Initiatives
Engage Partners intends to implement the following measures to further reduce emissions:
● Relocation or optimisation of office space to improve energy efficiency
● Introduction of formal supplier sustainability requirements, focusing on emissions and waste reduction
● Installation of renewable energy sources where feasible
● Further increases in remote meeting technology to reduce travel demand
● Carbon literacy training for staff to support behavioural change
● Engagement with industry bodies to adopt the Science-Based Targets Initiative principles
● Review and potential certification to ISO 14001 Environmental Management
Declaration and sign-off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 006 and the associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans. Emissions have been recorded in line with the GHG Reporting Protocol Corporate Standard and relevant Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas reporting.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions has been reported in line with the standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain Standard.
This plan has been reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors.
